| Coach Al Sims
After retiring as a Komets player in 1989, Sims became the Komets coach. He led the team to an improbable trip to the 1991 Turner Cup Finals and won division titles in 1992 and 1993. During the 1993 playoffs, he guided the Komets to a perfect 12-0 record, something that had never before been accomplished at any level of professional hockey. |
