| Boy dies from LaCrosse encephalitis
Fifteen-year-old Christopher Doyle died Aug. 11 from LaCrosse encephalitis. Health officials believe he contracted it from a mosquito bite. He died just 10 days before he was to start his freshman year at North Side High School.
