Comments: “David scored a perfect 800 on both the math and physics SAT Level 2 exams,” said Theresa J. McCombs, Homestead High School mathematics chair. “As a junior, he scored an 800 in math, 800 in critical reading and a 760 in writing on the SAT for an incredible composite score of 2,360 out of a possible 2,400.”

Sterling Sentinel Judge Scott Brune said of Ramsey's SAT scores, “This is an accomplishment that I have not seen before, nor expect to see again soon.”


Plans: After earning his bachelor's degree, Ramsey plans to attend graduate school and work toward a doctorate in mathematics, physics or computer science. He would someday like to research and teach at the university level.
