The book's dust cover says it best:

''Since 1911, the Fort Wayne lecture society known as the Quest Club has gathered once a week to hear research papers by its members.

"With boundless curiosity and keen intelligence, the Quest Club membership has investigated history, philosophy, science, politics, the arts, business, human behavior, whatever the past has held or the future may bring."

More than 2,000 papers were presented during the club's 83-year history.

In Fort Wayne's Bicentennial Year (1994), the club first presented 16 of those papers in a new book, "The Quest for Fort Wayne, An Anthology of the History of Fort Wayne."

The book ($21.95) is available at Little Professor Book Company at Covington Plaza, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society.
