Q: Is the Subscribe website secure?
A: Protecting your order information is a priority for us. We use
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your
online order information. SSL security makes eavesdropping on the
Internet nearly impossible. When you use our Start A Subscription page,
the page of our Subscribe site where credit card information is involved,
you can be assured that your sensitive information and monetary
transactions are encrypted, safe, and secure.
Q: What is the News-Sentinel delivery area?
A: Home delivery is available in the following counties: In Indiana:
Allen, Dekalb (Auburn, Garrett and St. Joe only), Huntington (Roanoke
only), Wells (Ossian only) and Whitley (Columbia City and Churubusco
only).
Q: What are the hours that I can reach The News-Sentinel?
A: The Circulation Customer Service Department's business hours are Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. / 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. We also offer an automated attendant that is available 24/7. This feature can process vacation requests, restart your service, provide information on your account status and take credit card payments. It can also log service issues for us to address.
Q: How can I pay for my subscription?
A: You may call Customer Service at 461-8519 or
toll free 1-800-324-0505. You can also use the automated attendant (same phone number) to process your credit card payment. If you choose, you may also pay through the mail with a
check or credit card. In addition, you may pay with a check to our Sales Promotion Department - call 461-8171 or toll free 1-800-444-3303, Ext. 8171. If you are a new subsciber, you can sign up for EZ Pay online and enter your payment or make an one-time online payment. The convenient EZ Pay program
charges your News-Sentinel subscription to the credit/debit card of your
choice automatically each month. All subscriptions are non-refundable.
Q: What time will my paper be delivered?
A: Your paper will be delivered by 5:30 p.m. Monday through
Saturday
Q: If I start a new subscription, when will I receive my first
paper?
A: Your subscription will begin on your requested start date or 2-3 business days.
Q: What are my options if I go out of town and do not want to
receive the paper?
A: These are your options: 1. You may donate your paper to students
through the Newspaper In Education (NIE) program. 2. We can save your papers
and deliver them when you return. 3. We can extend your subscription by
the number of day/s you are away.
Q: How much advance notice is required to stop my service for
vacation?
A: If through the online process, please allow 2-3 business days for processing vacation
requests or you can call 461-8519 or toll free 1-800-324-0505 for a next day stop by a customer service representative .
Q: How can I cancel my newspaper subscription?

Q: What do I do if my paper did not arrive or is damaged or
incomplete?
A: Hearing from you is important to us and will allow us to take the
right steps towards improving our service. If you are a current
News-Sentinel home delivery subscriber and you need today's paper
replaced, you may call 461-8519 or toll free 1-800-324-0505. In order to
receive a replacement newspaper, please request your paper on the same
day the newspaper was published within the following hours: Monday
through Saturday: 5:30-7:00 p.m. If you miss these replacement times, we
can deliver your paper the following day. If you do not wish to have a
replacement paper, we can credit your account for the missed papers.
Q: How can I reward my carrier for providing great
service?
A: Carriers are independent business people who work very hard to
provide you with timely and accurate delivery. You can reward them for
