Joseph and Marlene "Marty" Clark Chandler of Foxwood Villas will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends on February 16th. Joe was a junior and Marty was a freshman when they met at South Side High School in 1948. They were married February 14, 1953 at Plymouth Congregational Church.
Their children are Tracy (Kristen) Chandler and Darcy (Jeff) Milner both of Indianapolis and Scott (Marien) Chandler of Chandler, Ariz. They have seven grandchildren; Joseph and Carly Chandler; Hannah, Logan and Garrett Milner of Indianapolis, and Victor and Carmen Chandler of Chandler, Ariz.
Joseph is a retired Professor of Organizational Leadership and Supervision from IPFW and was formerly Assistant Industrial Relations Manager at Motor Truck Engineering, International Harvester. Marty retired from Light World and was also an Interior Designer for over 30 years.
