Dan "Butch" Carteaux of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Susanne G. Kindred of Bloomington, Indiana, are proud to announce their engagement.
Dan is the son of Norbert A. Carteaux and Valeria A. Carteaux (both deceased), of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Susanne is the daughter of Gregory Shade (deceased), of Seattle, Wash., and Margaret (Linnemeier) Brown of Bloomington, Indiana.
Dan has recently returned to United States after many years of living overseas, and surprised Susanne by formally proposing on Thanksgiving Day, on Siesta Key Beach, with family members present. The happy couple are planning a summer wedding in Bloomington, Indiana.
