Mel and Ruth Arnold of Fort Wayne, Ind., are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married January 25, 1948 in the United Methodist Church at Lincolnville, Ind.
They have three children, David (Janet) Arnold, Chicago, Ill., Betty (Steve) Cunningham, Sycamore, Ill., and Daniel (Barbara) Arnold, Fort Wayne, Ind. They also have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mel served in the Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He and Ruth graduated from International Business College. Mel worked at Inland Chemical Corp. for over 30 years, retiring as Vice-President. He then worked at McKesson Corporation.
They enjoy spending time with their family and traveling.
